Abstract

Examines the current health and well-being of adolescents around the world. Considers the implications for adolescent health and well-being in the twenty-first century of societal trends, including growing poverty and income disparities, the changing health care system, increased migration and urbanization, and new information technology. Discusses way communities can better invest in youth and their long-term health and well-being. (Author/KB)
