Abstract

Implementing information technology into education is one of the world wide trends for students, teachers and administrators (Bitter & Pierson, 2005). In addition, a web-based multimedia platform provided by the school to fulfill the consideration along with the advanced features embed such as teaching, learning and managing became essential. A western university in the United States has concerned the change and moved paper-based portfolio system to electronic portfolio system in professional teacher education program (PTEP) since summer, 2005. The progress of implementing the new system will be discussed based on an organizational point of view.
