Abstract
Abstract: lnformation and Communication Technology (ICT) has invaded all aspects of human life. ICT can play a major role in any educational set up, right from student registration to certification. Whether it is teaching or student administration, curriculum development or courseware development, use of ICT has proved to be a boon. The paper explores the relevance of ICT in education with a special focus on teachers training. It presents a case study of use of multimedia package developed for laboratory methods in teaching of Chemistry at pre-service level tested on B.Ed. students of M.S. University of Baroda.
