Abstract

Seeks a common unifying core of communication media capable of integrating information from diverse research methodologies and academic departments in the educational sciences. Employs three data sets: (1) responses from a written survey of social science faculty; (2) analysis of the faculty publications in 49 journals over 6 years; and (3) citation analysis in 13 journals over 2 years.
