Abstract
The objective of this paper is to outline specific techniques to eliminate issues that pervade creating accessible learning applications. Guidelines and techniques for assuring accessibility in learning applications for Acrobat, PowerPoint, Flash and other multi-media applications will be presented. We identify the need for complete accessibility, review current mandated accessibility requirements, and provide an overview of accessibility issues. Finally we discuss evolving accessibility issues, list current resources and demonstrate the need for future empirical research and advanced accessibility solutions.
