Understanding technology is like grabbing jello. Just when you think you understand how it might be used in teacher education or the PK-12 classroom, something new bursts onto the scene. As a consequence, we often are tempted to attach our enthusiasm and energies to exploring the latest digital device. While we certainly want to continue to explore the leading edge, there are critical challenges that need addressing today. This talk will address what I see as the critical technology challenges confronting teacher educators and SITE.
