Abstract

This Best Practices session is intended to describe the development and implementation of a fully online, non-degree program designed to address a critical shortage in qualified speech-language pathologists across clinical practice settings in the United States. The process required to create specific course curriculum, to train faculty in the online teaching process, and implement this program are discussed. The outcomes following the first full year of the program as well as the proposed plan to improve and expand the program in the future are presented.
