In this paper, I will describe a design approach for an on-line course which integrates various facets all responding to identified teachers’ needs. These include: finding ways to improve teachers’ English level, learning how to use software related to podcast use, locating podcasts, communicating and learning on line through the course platform and other on-line tools and finally, producing and publishing podcasts based on possible classroom use. This approach aims to immerse the teacher into an activity based dynamic where the participant needs to learn how to use the different elements in order to understand the workings of podcasts and produce his own.
