Abstract

This paper is a report on cloud computing and mobile learning tools piloted in an online Special Education (SPLED) program. Several applications including Google calendar, Gmail, Google Docs, Screenr, and Mental Case Flashcards were selected for the pilot in the 2009/10 academic year. The purpose of the ongoing pilot is to provide students an option to access content, email, and calendar events through mobile devices, and also help them collaborate using iPhone or iPod Touch. All student feedback and pilot results will be available at the end of the summer semester in July 2010.
