Abstract
Online programs continue to grow in Colleges of Education. As this occurs, thought needs to be given as to how teacher candidates in the field will be observed and held accountable for their teaching. As one College of Education grows its online offerings, programs toward 100% online delivery. As the puzzle is assembled, all the pieces fit nicely; however, one important piece is missing: the ability to supervise teacher candidates in clinical internships. This paper describes how one College of Education used remote observation as the missing piece of the puzzle.
