Abstract
Computer programming education is actually conducted in computer lessons for the freshmen. Among them, there are the students who have not performed programming operation and are hard to consider and program algorithm to work out problems. In order to support such students, we created "Teaching Material to Combine Flowchart with Source Program". However, this teaching material, which is made by use of Java Applet, needs its long development time and is also difficult of correction. For this reason, the same teaching material was recreated using Flash software to compare its development time with the former. As a teaching material to be used prior to this teaching material, we prepared "Teaching Material to Structure Source Program with Flowchart". As a result of checking the relationship between the number of times that the students used the teaching material and their marks in tests, we found the presence of a small correlation between both matters.
