The key aspects of an ideal online learning environment have been discussed for several years but one emerging trend to teaching and learning is blended learning approach. In last years it is popular designing blended courses to avoid the pitfalls associated with wholly online or wholly face-to-face courses. Because of the huge growth it is a need to evaluate the effectiveness of these courses. Chickering and Gamson developed a conceptual model “Seven Principles for Good Practices” for planning and assessing education and in the developing years by the growth of technology, it was revised and used to assess online environments. Although there were many studies on online environments based on the principles, this is important of being the first based on blended environments in Turkey. In this case study it is investigated prospective student teachers' perceptions of their learning in a blended course that is correlated with the seven principles of effective instruction.
