Abstract

Bridging the gap between educational digital library resources and educators' use of those resources in their classroom teaching requires an analysis of both the modeling of educational objects for educators' use and educators' curriculum planning and adaptation processes. The ENACT framework seeks to map areas for technological application support for adaptation to educators' adaptation and planning processes. Teaching Box Builder is an application designed to support adaptation of curriculum and sustained use and incorporation of digital library resources. This paper summarizes the research methodology which will refine and evaluate the ENACT conceptual framework and the Teaching Box Builder design.
