Effective Technology Integration: Essential Conditions for Success

Access to technology in schools has increased substantially over the last decade. The tools are there, but recent reports are confirming the results of earlier studies: teachers are either not using the available technology at all or they are failing to use technology to its full potential. This study explored the issue from the teacher's perspective. What condition or combination of conditions promote technology integration? Regression analyses were conducted to answer the research question. Conditions that are essential to teacher adoption of technology are identified and discussed.
