Abstract

Multicultural education and technology together can offer a number of challenges and possibilities for teacher education. Although U.S. classrooms are faced with the changing demographics towards a more diverse society as well as the rapid growth of technology in education, preparing preservice teachers to educate culturally diverse student populations and to integrate technology into instruction simultaneously has gained limited exploration within the literature. This study assesses preservice teachers' beliefs about multiculturalism and diversity within a technology-enhanced teacher preparation program.
