The purpose of the research was to assess the effectiveness of the Virtual Learning Environment System (VLES) in mathematics. VLES is an online virtual classroom that simulates the actual classroom situation. The virtual classroom can be accessed only by enrolled students with the aid of a User Name and a Password accepted by the system. Once inside the VLES the student experience the same physical classroom experience; the teacher giving them course related lectures and assignments, announcements and deadlines of submission. Online submission of assignment and online examination can do. Once information is uploaded in the virtual classroom, the system will activate instantaneous networking of messages to the personal e-mail address of all entity involved in the virtual classroom. Feedback of each classroom activity like results of assignment, quiz/examination can be accessed in the Grade Check feature of the system. The majority of the learning takes place online.
