Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to describe and explore factors that influence technology integration by teacher education faculty through the implementation of Preparing Tomorrow's Teachers to Use Technology (PT3) grant projects. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with project directors and teacher educators to obtain an in-depth account of project initiatives. This paper reports qualitative findings from a larger study in which cross-case analysis methodology was utilized to examine quantitative and qualitative data. Data sources were acquired from colleges of education accredited by the National Council of Accreditation for Teacher Education (NCATE) at four universities.
