Abstract

The University of Alabama has successfully developed a workshop model that addresses the universal barriers affecting higher education faculty adoption of technology. This model effectively combines institutional support, faculty compensation, and personalized instruction in a two-week workshop in which faculty develop a complete pedagogy-based online course.
