Abstract
This paper is a report on an evaluation of the system that the authors developed and introduced to an information literacy class with project-based learning (PBL) for university freshmen. The system, named “Cisty,” is web-based system that supports peer review and collaborative group learning. The authors focus on the system features and evaluate the system through a four-year implementation in the class. In this paper, they describe previous changes to the system and provide an overview of the class. They compare the results of a student questionnaire and examine whether the students accepted the system positively or negatively. The questionnaire results suggest that the students evaluated certain features of the system positively.
