Abstract

This presentation will discuss the conceptual change process, how it can be integrated into teacher preparation programs, and how it can act as a foundation for designing effective preservice teacher technology preparation strategies. In addition, we will discuss how conceptual change-based instructional strategies can play a central role in helping preservice teachers to understand and accept constructivist epistemologies and teaching methods and learner-centered uses of the computer.
