Abstract
Portfolios are personal collections of materials and artifacts reflecting teachers' experience and career. In order to be objectively reflective, portfolios must also clearly reveal author's individuality. This personal touch increases portfolios' assessment subjectivity and thus makes it extremely difficult and controversial.In this presentation I introduce my work and research on teachers portfolios with emphasis on electronic portfolios and particularly the process of their assessment. I also distinguish a transition from existing research on traditional portfolios towards recent findings on their electronic equivalent
