Abstract
Online teacher professional development (oTPD) allows teachers to participate in high quality professional development activities. This paper presents an examination of a design based research program regarding the development of an oTPD program called a Courselet. This is a practitioner delivered sequence of activities designed to promote the implementation of educational technology into teacher classroom practice. This paper examines an oTPD design based research program, and the lessons learned from the first iterations of delivery. This examination will help inform the design of further oTPD and will provide anecdotal examples of best practice in oTPD.
