Abstract

This study examined the impact of varied animated pedagogical agent's level of transparency on reducing split attention and, therefore, increasing students' performance. The results of the experiment showed that using different opacities of animated agents in multimedia instruction revealed different results in guiding students’ visual attention and in students’ performance.
