Personal Development Experiences of Teachers who Integrate Technology in Their Classes

Abstract
In this study, we surveyed 27 advanced technology-using teachers across the state of Georgia. We examined five primary open-ended questions of these well-educated, experienced teachers from middle class suburban schools. One of the questions we considered was what caused them to become more student-centered in their teaching. They suggested a combination of training, access to technology and student need. In looking to the future, they focused primarily on the need for more technology in their classrooms, smart classrooms and a more project focus in their teaching.
