Abstract
This poster presentation will identify various challenges facing online instruction and provide strategies to engage online students in both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. Instructional technology and resources to aid in student engagement and retention will be introduced, such as edpuzzle, nearpod, flipgrid, and slack. All strategies and technologies presented can be implemented in all content specific areas and grade levels.
