Abstract

Artikel ini membahas pendekatan scientific yang dikembangkan pada Kurikulum 2013 jika dikolaborasikan dengan pemanfaatan perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah pendekatan scientific berbasis ICT serta penerapannya dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir matematik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII SMA Negeri 5 Kota Ternate, sedangkan sampel penelitiannya adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPA 1 dan XII IPA 2 sebanyak 47 siswa. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dari nilai pretest dan posttest siswa. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah siswa terkesan antusias mengikuti pem-belajaran dengan pendekatan scientific. Selain itu, kemampuan berpikir matematik siswa da-pat meningkat hingga mencapai kategori N-Gain tinggi.

This article discussing scientific approach on 2013 Indonesian curriculum colaborated with the recent knowledge and technology development. This research by employing quasi experimental method aims to analyse the scientific approach and its implementation to develop student mathematical thinking. Population of the research including all student from XII grade, senior public highschool 5 Ternate city, whereas the sample are 47 student from grade XII class 1 and 2 which are concentrate on science. The result are: student looks enthusiastic to learn by employing scientific approach and their mathematical thinking also improve came to high category of N-Gain.
