Abstract

This paper proposes the concept and the construction of Ubiquitous Learning Community (ULC). Based on the recognition of the concept of Ubiquitous Learning, this paper suggests a conceptual model of ULC. ULC is established on the interactions between Real World and Virtual Space, Personal Space and Shared Space. Context-awareness support is indispensable to these interactions, especially for the social building of knowledge in ULC. Further, this paper also discusses a design framework for ULC construction.
