This paper focusses on what value an instructor can bring to the on-line learning environment by creating exceptional subject specific videos. We will cover the best software to use, what creative steps to determine what information to put into such videos, how to actually create and edit the videos and then how to make them available to the students. This paper will leave the reader with practical, tools with which the reader can create their own video including a firm understanding of the process and required steps, along with up to date knowledge the various software options.
