The Decline of Traditional Media and Materials in the Classroom

Reports the results of a survey that examined educational media usage and preference by teachers. Reasons for the increasing use of computers and videotape cassette recorders over traditional media are identified, and the need for media courses in teacher education curricula is discussed. (CLB)
