Abstract
This roundtable discusses research on the utilization of innovative digital design technologies to support current and future teachers in their efforts creating creative classrooms—such as elementary teachers contextualizing mathematics education within music themed activities, and science teachers incorporating a NASA themed transmedia book featuring digital fabrication into their classroom. These and other examples of creative classrooms will anchor discussions about field-tested best practices for providing guidance to other likeminded endeavors. The roundtable conclusion will discuss future research and development efforts that aim to use innovative digital design technologies to support creating creative classrooms.
