Abstract

Faculty should be encouraged to incorporate technology into preservice classes. Many classes, except the educational technology class, are not taught in classrooms well equipped to handle this challenge. A ‘typical’ classroom has nice technology for teacher presentation, a computer, document camera, smartboard, and projector, but little or no technology for student use. Our Educational Technology and Media Center (ETMC) has worked diligently to overcome this obstacle by providing technology that can roll into the classroom. Come learn about what is available to our faculty, how often it is used, and how it maintained. We hope you can learn lessons to take back to your University!
