Abstract

Integrating instructional technology within the elementary classroom is required by both state and federal mandates, set forth in the form of standards and guidelines. The integration of technology within the classroom setting requires time, training, and teacher willingness. Teachers are likely to develop beliefs and attitudes regarding the requirement of instructional technology integration within the classroom setting. Therefore, analyzing the attitudes K-5 public educators possess towards the integration of instructional technology will improve researchers' understanding of the factors influencing the integration of instructional technology into a classroom setting. Approximately 135 participants from the Darlington County School District in southeastern South Carolina contributed to this study. The SFA-T3 was utilized for data collection. Analysis of variance was performed on the collected data.
