The free-lance nature of the part-time student teaching supervisors at California State University, Long Beach fostered a certain perceived degree of isolation and lack of community support that was part of this dynamic. To address the challenges of parking on campus and scheduling conflicts, the evaluator determined an online resource such as a wiki, would be a useful tool for centralized, interactive connectivity among the faculty. This project concerned the development and evaluation of a communication portal as a mode of technological support, which synthesized and expanded both the users' skills and enhanced communication in the field.
