Abstract

This paper will describe the Online Learning Forum (OLF), a k-12 professional development program. This RPInteractive professional development model provides teachers with the opportunity to learn new technologies, work collaboratively, communicate with their peers, and develop projects for their classrooms. With the advent of distance learning, online teaching and learning allows educators to participate in such experiences at their own pace, in their own environments, on their own time. This model has been developed to facilitate a community of learners, where the transfer of existing technologies and the development of new technologies are integrated into an RPInteractive experience unlike any other.
