Abstract

The paper deals with two challenges, firstly with how to support and include the growing number of mature part time students that desires a formal education but does not have the opportunity to be present on campus for all learning activities, into the learning community. In addition how to utilise these mature students knowledge about the industry the students will be employed by when graduated, as a source of engagement and motivation for the regular student body.
