Abstract

This study is to explore possibilities of creating active learning opportunities by designing and creating learning with mobile responsive learning technologies and the rationale behind integrating these technologies. The fact that mobile learning has been beneficial because it is free from the restriction of location as well as time and because of the common availability of mobile devices has made mobile learning become increasingly popular. This study suggests that instructors should take into consideration providing active learning opportunities and make just-in-time learning possible for students with mobile responsive learning technologies while designing and developing any types of instructions such as lessons, activities, training in online environment when integration technology. Design principles for mobile learning is discussed, and tips to switch to mobile learning are given.
