AbstractThis paper explores the possibilities to develop the creativity skills originality, flexibility and elaboration of graphic ideas through the use of a locally developd software applied in a sample of 112 Mexican high school male students. The software consists of three main parts theoretical information on graphic design techniques, links to different web sites related with graphic design and a locally developd software for drawing and graphic desing and its tutorial. The results were obtained comparing the works in two control and experimental groups. A group of experts evaluated the works by their originality, flexibility and elaboration of ideas, and the experimental groups works were more creative than the control groups.
