Abstract

Abstract: in this paper we present one of our ongoing research project on developing pervasive e-Learning system. In the past years, we have completed PC-based e-Learning system (ECLUE) design and implementation, and partly experimented PDA-based e-Learning system (CLUE+) development. At present, to improve the communication potential of existing systems, we are trying to develop learning system based on mobile phone (CLUEII). We selected i-mode of NTT DoCoMo corporation (Japan) to construct our mobile learning platform, which will apply i-HTML Java for i-mode Flash Lite for i-mode technology. In our opinion, if we can effectively integrate the three systems, we can construct a Pervasive e-Learning System, which will serve making it possible for anyone to get right learning material or support at anywhere and anytime.
