Abstract

This poster will present case studies on the intersection of practical laboratory-type activities and virtual high schools. It is intended to provide research base for the development, implementation, and evaluation of online learning for the Iowa Learning Online project and for others interested in developing online High School courses. Specifically, this presentation will describe case studies of how developers have included practical activities for distance education courses. Implications will be tied to preservice and inservice teacher education relative to flexible and distance learning.
