Abstract
Advances in today's healthcare demand that those who educate healthcare professionals keep abreast of the latest changes. Continuing education is the accepted vehicle for new theories and best practice. Internet technology offers the most recent information with the fastest response. Updates found at Web sites can provide content, teaching strategies and timely resources for events that change the world in one day. This paper will present a Web site developed for psychiatric nursing teachers in baccalaureate nursing programs. The site contains links to mnemonics as teaching strategies, and theories on causes of Schizophrenia, Depression, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Special links offer supportive interventions for adults and children impacted by the events of September 11, 2001.
