Abstract
In this study, we developed content using tablet devices and web applications as an aid to observations and learning with comparisons between exhibits in zoos. Comparisons between animals are useful while learning about animals through observations, because experts are similar in the ways they observe animals. The content focused on the legs of the ostrich and emu. The content was developed with the aim of aiding the acquisition of knowledge on the emu and ostrich through observations while comparing between them. Therefore, the content included a quiz about their differences and a quiz about their similarities. We conduct the evaluation experiment to prove the effectiveness of the content’s user interface. The results show the user interface of the content in aiding the observations accompanied by comparison between the ostrich and emu was demonstrated.
