Abstract
This Best Practices session will explore the power of reflective blogging for teachers’ professional growth. Based on the theory that reflective blogging can serve as a conduit between the “high, hard ground” of theory and the “swampy lowland” of practice as described by Schon (1983), we will investigate the potential of blogging to facilitate growth and professional development. Three cases of blogging in teacher education will be examined, and implications for the design and development of reflective blogging will be discussed.
