Abstract
The advancement of mobile learning technologies has made it viable for developments in education and technology to be combined in order to fulfil educational needs worldwide. Teaching organisations are now adopting new teaching methods, informal learning approaches and emerging technologies, such as smart phones and tablets to support the delivery of learning skills, materials, collaboration, knowledge sharing and lifelong learning. The goal of this research is to investigate the benefits that mobile learning can bring to students studying English as part of their courses in higher education institutions within Saudi Arabia.
